New Product Introduction Lead

\

We are seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) lead to oversee the development and launch of new products across various industries.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional teams in NPI projects to ensure timely and successful product launches\
  • Collaborate with R&D and design engineers to review product designs for manufacturability and assembly\
  • Define and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools\
  • Ensure product BOMs, routings, and process documentation are accurate and complete\
  • Work with suppliers on tooling, part availability, and cost optimization during NPI\
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support On-site Acceptance Tests (SAT)\
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customer engineers as the technical interface to resolve engineering and process issues\
  • Track project milestones, report progress, and escalate issues to stakeholders\

Requirements:

\

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline, along with 3+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering or project engineering.

\

You should also have familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and product lifecycle management (PLM) principles, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

\

Proficiency in CAD tools and ERP/PLM systems is also required, along with strong organizational, project management and communication skills.
