Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our Cloud Solutions team, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class services to our customers running their solutions on Oracle private, public, and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical governance and guidance to our delivery teams.
  • Work closely with customers to align their business and industry requirements with Oracle's best practices and service delivery standards.
  • Ensure successful handover from implementation to operations, ensuring the implemented infrastructure solution meets customer requirements.
  • Assess and analyze customer cloud infrastructure needs to ensure Oracle solutions meet customer objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance on Oracle cloud and hybrid solutions to customers and other Oracle team members.
  • Support solutions around multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and provide structured awareness to our teams and customers.
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure IaaS and PaaS customers derive value from their investments.
  • Align with JAPAC PaaS/IaaS teams to contribute and leverage key learnings.
  • Apply industry and Oracle best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.
Requirements:
  • Overall good knowledge of Oracle's private, hybrid, and public cloud solutions.
  • Experience in multi-cloud deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of OCI IaaS Oracle recommended practices for workloads onboarding and/or running on OCI IaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of physical and SDN network technologies.
  • Awareness and knowledge of networking and latency considerations for different workloads.
  • Ability to architect for high availability, fail-over, and disaster recovery in public or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Good automation process and technology experience around DevOps, GitOps, AI/ML, microservices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security.
  • Good knowledge of relevant open-source cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with KVM, AWS, Azure, SoftLayer, and OpenStack.
  • Experience in developing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud security and systems in support of information security operations.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native design solutions.
  • Good understanding of Oracle Database, Oracle Middleware, and PaaS services.
  • TOGAF10 certifications.
