The role of the Watch Manager is a pivotal position within our Marine Safety & Port Operations Division, ensuring the seamless operation of the Singapore Port. The team's primary objective is to manage vessel traffic, marine environment, and safety, as well as operations planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing navigational safety and security matters, monitoring enforcement and granting approvals for operational matters in the port. Additionally, they will coordinate search and rescue operations, review and develop operational policies and procedures to support the development of the Port.
We are seeking experienced individuals who possess a Certificate of Competency (Deck) Class 1 with relevant experience to join our team as a Watch Manager/Senior Watch Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee navigational safety and security matters
• Monitor enforcement and grant approvals for operational matters in the port
• Coordinate search and rescue operations
• Review and develop operational policies and procedures to support the development of the Port
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Certificate of Competency (Deck) Class 1
• Relevant experience in maritime operations
