Job Description

The Environmental Sustainability Expert will play a key role in driving and implementing environmental sustainability initiatives across the organization.

  • Develop and implement division-wide strategies to reduce environmental impact and promote resource efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on sustainable practices and lab operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and streamline policies and procedures for lab management.
  • Liaise with relevant teams to oversee lab resource planning and optimisation of lab utilization.
  • Implement automation, technology, or process optimisation to manage lab operation data for management reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a good degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in lab and sustainability management.
  • Passionate about environmental stewardship would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in effective management of lab resources to support lab operations.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organisation.
  • Establish and upkeep processes for lab space changes and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee periodical review of SOPs to streamline workflows for continuous improvement in lab operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Function as part of the Resource Planning and Management Team to support the division's activities and administrative needs.
