Environmental Sustainability Specialist

At our organization, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our operations are conducted within regulations and that we maintain the highest standards of environmental management.

As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for reducing waste generation and managing all types of waste.
  • Monitoring water usage and tracking water sources to target reduction in consumption.
  • Ensuring effective control of air pollutants through pollution control systems and supporting sustainability practices.

Key areas of focus will include:

Environment Management
  • Developing and driving an Environment Management System across units.
  • Preparing business policies and ensuring compliance with environment laws and regulations.
Water Management
  • Monitoring water usage and tracking water sources.
  • Targeting reduction in water consumption.
Waste Management
  • Monitoring and managing all types of waste.
  • Supporting effective segregation and disposal.
Air Pollution Control Management
  • Analyzing and reporting air pollutant data.
  • Ensuring effective control through pollution control systems.

To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the field.

You will report directly to the Vice President and will be responsible for playing a crucial role in ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability within the organization.
