This is a detailed and analytical role that involves scrutinizing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
The Accounting Data Screener will work closely with the finance team to review and verify all financial transactions, ensuring that they align with company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities- Financial data analysis: Review and verify all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Documentation mapping: Verify the accuracy of mapping and link supporting documentation to the corresponding financial transactions within the accounting system.
- Error reporting: Promptly identify and report any discrepancies, missing information, or incomplete documentation to the supervisor.
- Record maintenance: Assist in organizing and maintaining both physical and digital financial records in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a data entry, accounting support, or administrative role. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Key skills include exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
