Job Title: Asset Management Renewal and Planning Expert

About the Role:

The Asset Management Renewal and Planning Expert will oversee the optimization of Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) assets to ensure their peak performance and high quality. This involves comprehensive monitoring of asset conditions, whole system life cycle management, and making informed decisions to optimize useful life versus timely renewal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage RTS assets in a way that ensures optimum performance and quality through ongoing monitoring of condition and implementing strategies for extension or timely renewal.
  • To collaborate closely with various stakeholders including Public Transport Operators and LTA divisions such as engineering, project, contracts, finance, policy, and maintenance teams.
  • To work collaboratively to develop long-term asset renewal and replacement plans ensuring timely strategy implementation and sustainable cash flow forecast.
Requirements:

Relevant qualifications include Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Mechanical / Systems / Rail Engineering / Building / Facilities Management, or other relevant disciplines. Additionally, 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience is required. Candidates with railway system knowledge and experience in Renewal Planning and/or Rolling Stock, Signalling, Communications and Control systems are preferred.

A self-motivated and resourceful individual able to work independently, demonstrate professionalism, objectivity, and positive attitude with good communications and interpersonal skills to engage various stakeholders.
