Job Overview
Kanken Techno PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to lead our service operations division in Singapore and Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor abatement systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

About the Role
This is a senior leadership position that requires a high level of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. The Strategic Operations Manager will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing customer relationships, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the service operations division.
  • Supervise Singapore & Malaysia personnel to achieve key performance indices and service standards.
  • Monitor and analyse income and expenses, establish business controls, and provide solutions to reduce costs and increase revenue.
  • Manage customer services and relationships through regular feedback and periodic operations reviews.
  • Communicate with Japanese engineers and HQ in Japan, providing technical guidance to site managers and service engineers.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, plan for departmental future needs, and counsel managers on performance.
  • Coordinate with site managers on manpower planning and arrangements.
  • Challenge for more business opportunities and expand service contracts in various fields to increase revenue.
  • Promote company services and sales of machine parts.
  • Evaluate safety and security in the workplace and ensure compliance with all procedures.

Requirements
  • Fluent in Japanese (Native) and English (Spoken & Written).
  • Minimum degree or higher with at least 7-10 years of related working experience in semiconductor abatement systems.
  • Strong ability to handle technical issues and negotiate service contracts with customers.
  • Experience in semiconductor fab and service audit will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of semiconductor facilities and processes will be an advantage.
  • Ability to travel daily to various sites and overseas when required.
  • Self-driven, energetic, resourceful, and good leadership skills are essential.
  • Meticulous and timely documentation skills are necessary.
  • Able to project a strong, positive image of self and company.
  • Able to build good partner relationships at all levels.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Responsible, independent, and excellent customer service skills.

Salary Estimate:
The estimated salary for this position is around SGD $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
