Strategic Operations Director for Semiconductor Services

Kanken Techno PTE. LTD. seeks a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to lead our service operations division in Singapore & Malaysia.

About the Role:

We are looking for an exceptional leader who can provide strategic direction, manage customer services, and foster strong relationships with Japanese Engineers and HQ in Japan. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in a semiconductor environment, fluency in Japanese (Native) and English (Spoken & Written), and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the service operations division and supervising Singapore & Malaysia personnel
  • Monitor and analyse Income & Expenses of the service operations, establish business controls, and provide solutions to reduce cost and increase revenue
  • Manage customer services and relationship through regular feedback and periodic operations review with clients
  • Communicate with Japanese Engineers and HQ in Japan and provide technical guidance to site managers and service engineers
  • Defines roles and responsibilities, plans for the department's future needs and operations; counsels and discusses with managers on performance
  • Coordinate with Site Managers on manpower planning and arrangements
  • Challenge for more business opportunities and expand service contracts in various fields to increase revenue
  • Promote company services and sales of machine parts
  • Ensure safe and secure work environment for all employees
  • Ensure compliance in all procedures including documentation
  • Attend and prepare documents for audit by customers

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Japanese (Native) and English (Spoken & Written)
  • Min Degree or higher with at least 7-10 years of related working experience with our company's abatement systems in a semiconductor environment
  • Strong ability in handling technical issues and able to propose and negotiate service contracts to customers
  • Experience in Semiconductor Fab and Service Audit will be an advantage
  • Good understanding & knowledge of semiconductor facilities & processes will be an advantage
  • Will to travel daily to various sites and overseas when required
  • Must be self-driven, energetic, resourceful, and good leadership
  • Meticulous and timely in documentation
  • Able to project strong, positive image of self and company
  • Able to build good partner relationship at all levels
  • Team player with good communication skill
  • Responsible, independent with excellent customer service skill

Estimated Salary: SGD $120,000 - SGD $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
