Programme Executive - Elder Care Specialist

We seek a values-driven and team-oriented elder care specialist to join our active ageing initiative. As a programme executive, you will play a pivotal role in implementing programmes for seniors, collaborating with volunteers and community partners to engage seniors in the community.

This position requires more than programme design and implementation - it calls for teamwork, a positive attitude, and a commitment to social impact. You will be instrumental in positioning us to support seniors, caregivers, and families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Elder Ageing Programmes and Outreach
    • Work with the programme manager to develop, plan, and execute programmes that promote seniors' physical health, cognitive well-being, encourage volunteerism, and foster social connections.
    • Design and implement outreach activities to engage seniors.
  • Operations Support
    • Ensure the safe and smooth daily operations of centre's programmes.
    • Manage registration, attendance, and necessary data to meet programme objectives.
    • Maintain compliance with internal policies, funding requirements, and government regulations.
  • Community Engagement & Partnerships
    • Establish and strengthen partnerships with grassroots organisations, government agencies, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
    • Develop innovative outreach strategies to increase senior participation and community impact.
    • Represent the organisation in collaborations, community events, and inter-agency platforms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in elder care, preferably in active ageing centres.
  • Strong programme management and execution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, Mandarin, and dialects/Malay.
