Job Title: Pharmacy Professional

Job Description:

As a pharmacy professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medication to customers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy, interpreting and clarifying physician medication orders, and compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations.

  • Review and verify patient medication orders for dose, route, name, and frequency of administration.
  • Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations in accordance with compounding regulations.
  • Monitor all patients on specified target drugs and initiate pharmacokinetic dosing protocols.
  • Evaluate drug therapy for appropriateness and make recommendations to clinicians.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum Diploma/Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or other relevant certification. You should also be meticulous and a team player, with knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
