Key Responsibilities:
- Process medication orders efficiently, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Pick, pack, and label medicines in accordance with SOPs, guaranteeing accuracy and precision.
- Conduct thorough medication reconciliation steps, including counting, sorting, and typing of prescriptions.
- Manage billing functions effectively.
Quality Service Provision:
- Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Conduct inventory management reviews, updating levels based on consumption on a regular basis.
- Oversee storage conditions, expiry checks, audits, and reporting of defects for drug products within the institution.
- Plan and execute cycle counts and stock takes accurately, adhering to SOPs.
Manufacturing Expertise:
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile products, including total parental nutrition bags, IV admixtures, infusions, extemporaneous eye drops, cream, ointment, and mixture.
- Assemble medications, supplies, and equipment according to set procedures, ensuring double-checking of prepared products before release.
- Guarantee that manufactured products meet quality control requirements.
Job Requirements:
Min Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or similar is required. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment.
