Maybank Singapore is seeking a Financial Due Diligence Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regime, with at least 1-3 years of working experience in the Banking & Finance industry.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting timely due diligence reviews for onboarding cases escalated by the Business Unit, evaluating the completeness of documents, assessing risk characteristics of customers and their connected parties, and providing recommendations to Compliance and Management where relevant.
In addition to conducting end-to-end Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) reviews, the Financial Due Diligence Specialist will also review and assess adverse news alerts flagged out on the Bank's customers via the name screening system, provide advice and clarification to the Business Unit on AML/CFT policies and procedures, and liaise with external customers for updated information and/or documents as necessary.
The successful candidate will be a diploma or degree holder in any discipline, with a strong understanding of banking practices and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary package including an estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
