Procurement Manager Job Description:

This role involves managing the procurement process for a store selling various home decor products. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and Contracting: Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers based on factors like price, quality, and reliability. Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible value for the organization.
  • Purchase Order Management: Managing and maintaining records of purchase orders, contracts, and invoices. Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring timely replenishment of inventory. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyzing spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
