Job Title: Decorative Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Decorative Finishing Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work areas, including cleaning, repairing cracks, and levelling surfaces for optimal finish quality.
  • Mix and prepare plaster, mortar, cement, and other related materials according to industry standards.
  • Carry out high-quality plastering, skimming, and waterproofing services for walls and ceilings.
  • Repair and refurbish existing plasterwork to ensure smooth finishes and meet quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients or stakeholders to provide accurate project quotations and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely project completion and exceed customer expectations.
  • Select and use the most suitable plastering materials, tools, and techniques for each project.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and safety by protecting non-work areas and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Comply with all relevant building codes, material specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Identify and report any structural or site issues promptly to the supervisor or site foreman.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of plastering techniques and materials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
