Warehouse Operations Specialist

Key to the smooth operation of a warehouse is the ability to manage inventory and ensure that goods are transported efficiently and safely. As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a timely manner, while also maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring that stockroom conditions are clean, dry, and free from obstructions.
  • Load and unload goods from containers or trucks, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Operate a fork lift truck to transport goods within the warehouse, following established safety procedures.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as required, and make adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Previous experience in a warehousing or distribution environment an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
