Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at IITMatrix. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data processing systems using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data engineering solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation, data encryption, and access control mechanisms.
  • Work with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models using big data technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data and cloud computing.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala.
  • Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flume, and Apache Sqoop.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
