Job Title: System Recovery Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced System Recovery Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and implementation of IBM Spectrum Protect solutions, as well as providing technical training and support to our operations team.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows & UNIX, including knowledge on TSM Server and Client Options, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL etc), IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail(Domino and Exchange), IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Vmware, NDMP Backup using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, DRM Implementation and Management using Tivoli Storage Manager, and Veritas Netbackup BAU operations for VM backup and recovery.

The System Recovery Specialist will also be responsible for providing remote and onsite support, analysing and resolving escalated problems, supporting TSM Product on OS like Winows, AIX, Solaris, Linux (basic Unix), DB2 and networking, and participating and working with local and global teams.

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years of technical experience in TSM
  • Min Dip in IT or equivalent
  • Good Communication(Oral & Written) skills is essential
  • Experience in managing Junior/ Senior support personnel
