Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented software engineer to lead the migration of site collections from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online.

The ideal candidate will design and develop custom applications using SPFx and Power Platform, administer SharePoint Online environments, and produce comprehensive reports for content discovery, inventory, and permissions auditing.

This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical proficiency and a passion for scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.


Responsibilities
  • Build responsive, scalable web parts and extensions using TypeScript etc.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft Graph for enhanced functionality.
  • Develop business process automation and user-friendly interfaces using Power Apps.
  • Design flows for document management, approvals, and notifications using Power Automate.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint Online features including site templates, content types, metadata, and retention policies.
  • Administer SharePoint Online, monitor usage analytics, storage quotas, performance metrics and generate reports.
  • Generate reports using PowerShell, PnP, and Power BI.
  • Conduct code review and testing.
  • Maintain, support and enhancement to existing applications.
  • Prepare documentation e.g. Design specifications, User Acceptance Test documents and participate in reviews.
  • Development of custom software or scripts to meet new functionalities required by the business.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in development using SharePoint on prem / SharePoint Online / Power Platforms.
  • More experienced candidates will be considered for senior positions.
  • Good programming and analytical skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as SPFx, React, TypeScript, PnP JS, Microsoft Graph and C#.
  • Familiarity with Sharegate, Metalogix, PowerShell, CSOM.
  • Strong understanding of Web Services API, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security best practices.
  • Skilled in Technical/Application Design Documentation.
  • Hands-on working experience with HTML, XML and Object-Oriented methodologies.
