Community Development Programme Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Community Development Programme Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals passionate about community work to gain hands-on experience in programme management, event coordination, and volunteer engagement.

  • Plan and coordinate impactful programmes that connect volunteer befrienders with children from families affected by incarceration.
  • Support and facilitate first home visits for the Learning Friends Programme.
  • Assist in onboarding, training, and befriending sessions for volunteers.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc volunteers to provide childminding support during Caregiver Support Group and Adult Befriender monthly sessions.
  • Prepare programme collaterals and provide administrative support.
  • Liaise with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher; relevant field preferred (e.g., Social Work, Education, Community Development).
  • Open to fresh graduates with a strong interest in community work or volunteer management.
  • Experience in community work or volunteer engagement is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva or other design tools a plus.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
