Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive research strategies for GaN-based materials growth and device processing technologies.
  • Design regrowth fabrication processes using highly doped GaN structures to minimize Ohmic contact resistance in clean room environments.
  • Lead the growth of GaN epitaxial structures utilizing MBE and MOCVD growth process technologies.
  • Evaluate the electrical, structural, surface, and optical properties of III-Nitride semiconductor epiwafers.
  • Interpret results, analyze data, and publish findings in high-impact scientific journals.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare project proposals and technical reports for funding agencies.
  • Guide PhD students and junior research staff.
Requirements
  • Possess a PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hold experience with III-Nitride semiconductor heterostructure growth and characterization, as well as device processing in cleanroom tools.
  • Show strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Be adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Excel in written communication and possess fluent English language skills.
