Procurement Acquisition Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Acquisition Specialist to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical engineering and proven experience in managing procurement operations within the manufacturing industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to develop key performance metrics and track management reports.
  • C coordinate return-to-vendor (RTV) matters with the Quality department and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Handle requests for quotation (RFQs), vendor sourcing, bid evaluation, and purchase orders.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support reorder planning.
  • Analyze costs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain supplier and material data in ERP.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior buyers and monitor vendor performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry.
