About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and drive strategic initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, public research funding, and innovation-driven R&D.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about translating cutting-edge research into real-world impact.
You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic R&D programmes, managing public grant portfolios, and driving cross-sector collaborations that advance AI technologies and their applications across industries.
Key Responsibilities- Grant Programme Management: Oversee the lifecycle of public research grants—from proposal evaluation to project monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with funding guidelines and alignment with national R&D priorities.
- Liaise with funding agencies, research institutions, and industry partners to facilitate successful grant execution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- 5-7+ years of experience in managing public research grants, preferably in a government or research agency setting.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, applications, and R&D processes.
- Proven track record in programme or project management within the research or innovation ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
