The Manufacturing Process Leader is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of methods, operation sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. This role involves managing manufacturing engineering-related projects as required.
Key responsibilities include estimating production costs, determining time standards, making recommendations for tooling and process requirements, leading cross-functional teams to reduce product costs and improve delivered product quality, and performing ROI analysis on projects to determine prioritization of resource allocations.
This position requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential objections, and persuade others to adopt a different point of view.
