About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Agency For Science, Technology And Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, ensuring compliance with technical and policy requirements, as well as providing value-for-money.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the procurement process by ensuring that purchase requests are translated into online procurement systems.
  • Preparing external documents (e.g. Invitation to Quote, Tenders) and performing and/or supporting activities throughout the procurement process.

In addition, the successful candidate will work with users to perform a structured assessment of vendor proposals and recommend proposals for award. This will involve partnering with executives in other functions, including Procurement and Finance, to ensure efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, and work in a dynamic environment. A diploma holder with a certificate in professional secretarial skills/finance is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
