Job Title: Experienced Senior Nurse for Elderly Care
This is a challenging role that involves the management and provision of quality care to elderly patients. The successful candidate will be experienced in leading teams and have strong leadership skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient care and provide high-quality nursing services to assigned groups of patients.
- Perform thorough patient assessments, utilizing clinical skills and knowledge to inform treatment decisions.
- Provide education and support to family members, ensuring they are empowered to play an active role in their loved one's care.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, adhering to professional standards and regulations.
- Assist doctors and respond to emergency calls as needed, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Implement interventions to achieve effective patient outcomes, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage medical supplies, equipment, and consumables inventory, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Practice infection control measures, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Participate in patients' rehabilitation, involving their families in the process where possible.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration, charts, and notes, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately in medical emergencies or crisis situations, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Diploma in Nursing, SNB registration
- Relevant years of experience in nursing homes, geriatric, or palliative care settings
