Job Overview

The Laboratory Assistant role is a critical position within our laboratory team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To perform daily duties for lab operations, including sample management, deparaffinization, image acquisition, quality verification, and project management in accordance with Quality standards and Safety standards.
  2. Oversee and manage general laboratory duties such as roster, lab documents/logs/records, equipment calibration, and other laboratory materials/facilities.
  3. Operate, service, and maintain Lab equipment used for imaging services to minimize machine downtime.
  4. Purchase, inventory manage, and replenish general consumables for laboratory use.
  5. Develop and maintain relevant documentation pertaining to laboratory procedures, including SOP/WI/policies.
  6. Maintain Quality Control for all activities related to imaging services.

Requirements:

  1. An education in a relevant field with at least 1 year of working experience in a laboratory environment.
  2. Good written and verbal communication skills, responsible, meticulous, and self-motivated with minimum supervision.
  3. Familiarity with GLP, GCP, and laboratory information management systems is a plus point.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
