Key Leadership Role: APAC Risk Prevention

The role of Head of Risk Prevention for APAC is a pivotal one, driving impact within the region and across the globe. This senior leadership position involves managing a team of program managers focused on protecting market safety, planning high-risk events, and serving as the key point of contact for internal teams.

This dynamic leader will be responsible for maintaining clear communication across offices and functional teams, including Policy, Product, Data, Operations, Risk Response, Public Policy, Communications, and Legal.

  • Lead a team in APAC consisting of market program managers and project managers.
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure the safety and well-being of markets.

Identify and prevent risks, and manage projects to mitigate high-risk events.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, handling issues and inquiries, and developing action plans to address them.

Consult with and educate cross-functional partners on trust and safety principles and market regulations.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders in decision-making, program management, and project implementation.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity in alignment with the global team.
  • Anticipate and manage organizational resource needs.
  • Support the creation of company-wide presentations, trust and safety organization updates, and other important metrics reports.
  • Establish a network of trusted stakeholders to tackle strategic challenges.
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in business transformation, transversal project coordination, and people management within the technology or internet industry.
  • Clear understanding of online regulation, specifically content and safety in APAC and globally.
  • Experience in managing complex programs, strategic planning, business process improvement, performance management, and change management.
  • Expertise in direct team management, organizing decision-making across multiple teams, and departments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in trust and safety or comparable technical fields or complex global organizations.
  • Ability to prepare presentations, actionable data, and strategic insights.
  • Capacity to work in high-pace environments, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges, and demonstrate resilience.
