Expanding Biomedical Research Opportunities

The Mechanobiology Institute is a multidisciplinary hub that seeks to revolutionize biomedical research by applying quantitative biophysical approaches.

As part of this effort, we are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our laboratory on Mammalian Development and Tissue Hydraulics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one of the following disciplines: Life Sciences, Biophysics, or Bioengineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate mechanobiological principles regulating follicle-follicle interactions and their functions
  • Combine ex vivo approaches with advanced imaging, biomechanics, and genetic tools to study these processes
  • Explore dysfunctions of mechanobiology and collective dynamics during ovarian ageing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in Life Sciences, Biophysics, or Bioengineering
  • Confocal bioimaging and image analysis skills
  • Experience in cell/molecular/tissue biology
  • Highly motivated and independent; open to feedback
  • Good communication skills; able to work well in an interdisciplinary team
