Job Role: Technical Operations Manager

Oversee the smooth operation of a fleet of tankers and manage maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily technical operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for vessel maintenance and repair activities.
  • Monitor and coordinate vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.
  • Conduct and report on incident/accident investigations.
  • Ensure adherence to ISM, ISPS, and MLC requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of shore experience as a technical superintendent or fleet manager, with sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer.
  • MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1).
  • Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.
