Job Description">

Drive innovation and growth as a Technology Analyst in our team.

This role involves planning and executing daily experiments, deciding on the best formulations for new products and solutions, and developing new ideas through literature searches and bench-top experimentation.

  • To innovate with ingredients, flavors, textures, and nutritional profiles to differentiate products in the market.
  • Develop recipes to optimize product functionality for customers.
  • Explore emerging food technologies, novel ingredients, and sustainable processing methods.
  • Share ideas with customers on Japanese food application.
Key Responsibilities">
  • Conduct pilot plant trials, including product shelf-life study and sensory tests.
  • Attend pilot plant/production trials at customers' premises.
  • Assess suitability of new equipment before use.
Application, Quality & Market Readiness">
  • Provide estimates on product costings to ensure products' formulation brings in profits after production.
  • Ensure all products meet food safety regulations, quality standards, and labelling requirements.
  • Evaluate experimental samples and work closely with sales team to address customers' needs.
Requirements">
  • Must hold a Master's in Agriculture.
  • Must have experience as a Team Lead.
  • Having strong Japanese language skills to connect with HQ A&I Centre members.
  • With 4 to 6 years working experience in R&D role.
  • Strong knowledge of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and processing technologies.
  • Familiarity with sensory evaluation and relevant food regulations.
  • Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and technical report writing.
