Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Materials to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the planning team to ensure visibility of current and future material issues
  • Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure
  • Develop and implement category strategies to support site requirements
  • Identify and mitigate material risks through BOM analysis and collaboration with category managers
  • Manage and maintain inventory programs, including VOI, JIT, and discrete orders
  • Resolve material shortages and gaps between programs and supplier execution
  • Recommend risk buy or consignment strategies to minimize inventory liability
  • Assess and present material lead times, chronic suppliers, and customer-managed allocations to support burst demand plans
  • Align with category managers and supply chain program managers to localize or regionalize OEM and BTP parts
  • Lead internal tiger teams to drive supplier long-term issues and improve supplier performance
  • Provide inputs to engineering and SCM on supplier selection and assessment
  • Analyze system need dates, supplier commitments, and current production status to identify critical material issues
  • Lead clear-to-build (CTB) for production build phases and drive Global Shared Service team with directions and action plans
Requirements:
  • Strong purchasing knowledge, including processes, tools, and practices
  • Good data analysis capability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the Clear To Build report
  • Strong knowledge of MRP system functionality
Education and Experience:
  • Diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in manufacturing industry
  • Prior experience in leading a team preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
