Leading Medical Ethics Expert
">Job Description:The Centre for Biomedical Ethics is seeking an accomplished bioethicist to contribute to our research, teaching, and faculty development. As a respected expert in medical ethics, you will strengthen our research portfolio, enhance undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and provide academic support to various centre activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct and publish high-quality research in medical ethics and bioethics, collaborating with colleagues to develop our research portfolio.
- Teach and mentor students on the Health Ethics, Law, and Professionalism programme and contribute to postgraduate teaching in bioethics.
- Develop and coordinate educational programmes, workshops, and conferences, facilitating knowledge sharing and capacity building in the field of bioethics.
- Participate in university and policy committees, engaging in academic life and contributing to the development of policies and guidelines related to healthcare and biomedical sciences.
To be considered for this position, you must possess a PhD in a relevant field, demonstrate expertise in ethics, and have experience in university-level teaching and research. A strong track record of publication and grant income is also essential.
