Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Port Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth turnaround of vessels at port.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate vessel arrivals and departures, arranging for necessary services such as tugs, pilots, and crew changes.
  • Manage cargo operational activities at the port, working closely with terminal operators and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, including Terminal, MPA, ICA, to ensure compliance with port regulations and standards.
  • Arrange for ship supplies, bunker supplies, and fresh water as required.
  • Prepare Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDA) and coordinate with ship, port authorities, and terminal operators.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to the office team on operational progress.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in ship boarding or port operations is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge of dry bulk operations is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Port and Immigration regulations, procedures, and governing tariffs.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A valid Class 2 or 3 driver's licence is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
