Job Title: Front Desk Team Member

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and professional Front Desk Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage room reservations, including group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to prepare rooms for guest arrivals, guaranteeing that all necessary amenities are available.

  • Perform check-in and checkout functions in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.

  • Assign requested room types and perform room moves as needed, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Upsell higher categories of rooms and introduce hotel rewards programs to increase revenue.

  • Obtain guest particulars and update them, including preferences in guest history, to provide personalized services.

  • Perform foreign currency exchange and post mini-bar charges accurately, maintaining high standards of financial integrity.

  • Post room charges for discrepancies and rebates for disputed charges, resolving any issues promptly.

  • Coordinate with other departments for billing instructions and updates, ensuring seamless communication.

  • Perform cashier closure and pre-night audit functions, verifying accuracy and completeness.

  • Follow up on tasks and outstanding matters to ensure timely resolution, meeting deadlines and expectations.

  • Provide information on hotel loyalty programs and assist with guest key preparation, enhancing the guest experience.

  • Extend warm welcomes and provide directions and information to guests, ensuring their needs are met.
