Job Title: Procurement Assistant Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement team and meeting project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: The Procurement Assistant Manager will provide support to the Project SCM Manager on project-related procurement aspects, including reporting on appointed buys' total production cost, supplier timely delivery, and quality performance.
  • Material Cost Management: The role is accountable for managing material costing for appointed systems and ensuring that budgetary requirements are met.
  • Timely Delivery: The Procurement Assistant Manager will ensure timely delivery of appointed systems and supplement the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • SCM Support: The role will provide support under SCM Commodity & Competency sections, such as Fabrication & Vetronics Group.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: The Procurement Assistant Manager will work with SCM-MMD group on appointed System/Buys delivery, warehousing, and material distribution.
  • Supplier Quality Performance: The role will work with SCM-SQM group on appointed System/Buys' supplier quality performance.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for this role.
  • Procurement Experience: At least 3 years of experience in procurement is necessary for this position.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem-solving, are essential for success in this role.
