This role plays a vital part in designing and implementing analytics that monitor the performance of our models and strategies. You will oversee the performance of existing models and strategies in production, track changes in their performance, and work closely with the quant and quant dev teams to address any issues as they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement analytical solutions that drive business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth model deployment and maintenance
- Develop and maintain high-performance analytical applications using Java, KDB, and Q
- Partner with technology teams to create automated testing frameworks and incorporate production performance analytics into these frameworks
- Lead the rollout of new models and strategies, ensuring timely and aligned implementation with business goals
- Monitor and maintain existing models and strategies, including periodic gap analysis and control remediation
Qualifications:
- PhD in highly quantitative subjects
- 3-5 years' experience in electronic trading and low-touch applications
- Experience in managing projects and relationships across front office and 2nd line control functions
- Strong knowledge of internal and external control and regulatory requirements in electronic trading
- Familiarity with complex workflows and integration with external applications
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with tremendous attention to detail
