Job Opportunity: Asia Medical Malpractice Claims Specialist

Job Description:
  • Manage and supervise medical malpractice claims in the Asia Pacific region, adhering to policy terms, company guidelines, and local procedures.
  • Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to improve performance and customer satisfaction by driving efficiencies in claim resolution, ensuring quality service in line with Chubb's claims philosophy.
  • Develop strategies to enhance efficiency in claims handling, improving speed, service, loss control, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Claims Service: Provide dedicated technical support for PI and Med Mal claims in Asia.
  • Claims Quality: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of claims data, maintaining accurate reserves, and updating claims data correctly.
  • Claims Reporting: Notify underwriters of claims issues or trends impacting underwriting decisions.
  • Large Loss Management: Properly resource and escalate large losses as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in handling/supervising PI and Med Mal claims, preferably across Asia.
  • Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strategies to improve claims outcomes.
  • Interest in technological trends like AI.
  • Strong analytical, relationship management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Law Degree or equivalent qualification.
