Job Summary

The Front Office Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing the smooth operation of the front desk. This involves leading, guiding, and supporting front office staff to ensure seamless interactions with guests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee lobby operations to efficiently handle guest needs.
  • Provide operational support by monitoring guest satisfaction, service standards, security, employee activity, and physical defects.
  • Coordinate with other departments to maintain optimal front office functions.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead teams to respond to guest complaints, special requests, and achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  • Update incident reports for critical incidents such as staff/guest injuries and damage to hotel properties.
  • Address guests' inquiries, problems, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Inspect and ensure the front desk and public areas are clean and operating equipment is in good working order.
  • Conduct and ensure the neat appearance of all front office team members.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in a full-service hotel or mid-range hotel.
  • Commitment to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with guests, employees, and third parties.
  • High attention to details.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
