Job Title: Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator

  • This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our shipping and warehousing activities.
  • The ideal candidate will design, implement, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all shipping and warehousing activities.
  • We are seeking a skilled professional to liaise with sales and production personnel on timely delivery of goods and returns due to quality issues.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality checks are conducted on incoming products.
  • Liaising with shipping agents to negotiate competitive deals for all shipments is also a key aspect of this role.
  • The job involves planning warehouse layout, local delivery schedules, and manpower allocation.
  • The person in this position will be responsible for monitoring quality, quantity, and stock levels in the warehouses.
  • Facilitating and coordinating the annual physical inventory count is an essential task.
  • The candidate must ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations as well as ISO standards.
  • Managing material handling equipment and company lorries, including their regular maintenance and replacement, is also part of the job.
  • The successful candidate will seek management approval and liaise with HR for any manpower requirements.
  • Supervising and motivating shipping and warehouse personnel is a crucial aspect of this role.


Requirements:
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Tuas.
  • Minimum Diploma in Business/Warehouse/Supply Chain Management or equivalent level qualifications with at least 3 years of experience in logistics operation.
  • Able to lead a team of warehouse and shipping staff at different levels in a diversified cultural environment.
  • Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with external vendors and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Experience in SAP is an added advantage.
