Job Title: Pet Shop Assistant

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a pet shop or veterinary clinic environment, with the ability to handle and care for large amounts of dogs. Basic grooming skills are also essential.

We seek a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to contribute to our team as a Pet Shop Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, answering calls and directing as needed, and assisting customers in selecting a grooming package.

The role involves ensuring all grooming appointments are properly scheduled, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and resolving customer complaints as necessary.

You will also be expected to assist the Groomer Team with day-to-day operations and support the Daycare Team in their tasks.

As a Pet Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the business.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable handling cash transactions and operating a point-of-sale system.
