Equipment Assembly Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Assembly Specialist to join our team in a high-tech cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as experience with sputtering equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, aligning, and integrating mechanical and electrical sub-systems based on schematics and build instructions. They will also install components such as vacuum chambers, pumps, valves, and control panels.

A key aspect of the role is performing functional and quality checks during and after equipment installation. The specialist will also support basic tool troubleshooting and rework for both mechanical and electrical issues.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with engineering teams on build improvements and reliability enhancements. The specialist will adhere to safety and cleanroom standards throughout all assembly and support activities.

We are looking for someone with hands-on, detail-oriented skills who is comfortable working in a structured manufacturing environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have relevant experience, preferably with NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. Familiarity with tools such as torque wrenches, multimeters, and vacuum gauges is highly desirable.

Furthermore, candidates should be familiar with sputter PVD equipment and able to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
