The Role

  • Our company is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in Linux system administration, virtualization, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with OpenShift and OpenStack, as well as Terraform and Ansible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform on OpenStack in our on-premises data centers. They will work closely with our customer-facing teams to ensure that our platform meets the highest standards of security, scalability, and reliability.

This is a senior engineering role that requires a high level of technical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven, and comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Design & Deployment: Architect and implement production-grade OpenShift clusters on OpenStack, including control plane, compute nodes, storage integrations, and networking.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging pipelines (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/ELK, Alertmanager).
  • Automation & CI/CD: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD) for platform updates, operator deployments, and application rollouts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Linux system administration (RHEL) and virtualization (KVM/QEMU).
  • 3+ years deploying and operating OpenShift in production environments.
  • Strong understanding about network and storage virtualisation.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenStack (Ansible-based or OpenStack SDK): Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance.
