Commodity Trader Role

We are seeking a skilled commodity trader to manage our agricultural products investments. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sector and be able to create and implement trading strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute commodity trading strategies for agricultural product futures and commodities.
  • Analyse holdings, monitor brokerage bank funds, and report on monthly positions to the trading supervisor.
  • Conduct thorough research within the designated sector, collecting and analysing industry data, and prepare insightful research reports.
  • Identify valuable investment opportunities within the market.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the futures or securities finance industry with commodity arbitrage and a solid P&L track record.
  • Exceptional organisational, planning, and logical analysis skills, combined with effective communication, coordination, and execution abilities.
  • A strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and execution capability, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with a collaborative team spirit.
  • Ability to thrive in diverse work environments and effectively manage work pressure.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related field.
