Job Overview

Mizuho Bank, a leading financial services company, is seeking a highly experienced Project Finance Director to join its Asia-Pacific Corporate Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and strengthening Mizuho's relationship with customers, managing assigned project transactions, and ensuring compliance with loan agreements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote and strengthen Mizuho's relationship with customers through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
2. Manage assigned project transactions, including providing prompt responses to incoming correspondences, facilitating borrower and lender queries, and carrying out duties as the mandated agent per the loan agreements.
3. Facilitate road shows and presentations as required, and provide prompt feedback to Team Leader/Section Head on transaction/operational issues and non-compliance matters.
4. Mentor and provide technical assistance to junior staff, and perform duties as checker and approver where appropriate.
5. Undertake business promotion activities, such as preparation of bid proposals, and ensure the quality of submissions to authorities.

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Accounting, or Banking & Finance with at least 10 years of syndicated loan agency or project finance experience.
• Good credit background, strong documentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Strong communication, numerical, and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
• Willingness to travel on a need basis.
