Design Engineer Opportunity

This role is pivotal in designing mechanical systems, encompassing calculations, component selection, and drawing creation. Mechanical engineers play a vital part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical parts and systems.
- Verify design calculations for accuracy to ensure optimal results.
- Monitor project progress according to schedule and deliverables.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports and meeting minutes.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, assisting with on-site installations, conducting quality control checks, identifying and resolving technical issues, preparing purchase orders, evaluating vendor proposals, and researching new technologies and materials relevant to mechanical engineering projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including material properties and design techniques.
- Proficient in utilizing Solidworks software for drawing creation and modification.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
