Salary: SGD 45,000 - 65,000 per annum
Company OverviewSG HOTELS PTE. LTD. operates four hotels in Singapore, including Maxwell Reserve, Autograph Collection Hotel (Marriott), Duxton Reserve, Autograph Collection Hotel (Marriott), The Vagabond Club, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel (Marriott), and The Serangoon Club, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel (Marriott).
As an associate of a Marriott hotel, you are eligible for discounts on food and beverage as well as room rates in over 7,000 hotels worldwide.
Job DescriptionThis role involves tactical sourcing for food and non-food categories related items, ongoing assessment, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving purchasing needs within all departments, managing communication by providing procurement updates weekly, identifying cost control strategies, and conducting physical inventory counts at various locations.
Other responsibilities include examining and analyzing inventory levels to ensure they match the records in the company database, detecting discrepancies or errors in inventory records and reporting to management, and collaborating with team members to share inventory audit findings and proposed solutions.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have a minimum 'O' Level qualification and at least 2 years of working experience in purchasing in the hospitality industry.
Key skills and qualifications include good communication and negotiation skills, strong research skills and time management, planning and coordination, proficiency in Microsoft applications, experience in purchasing and inventory software, and strong email skills.
