Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Desk Executive to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling their queries and requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring that they have a seamless and enjoyable stay with us.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handling of Reception / Front Desk duties including but not limited to checking-in and checking-out of hotel guests;
- Providing courteous and efficient service to all hotel guests;
- Ensuring that all telephone calls are handled promptly;
- Familiarity with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; so as to up-sell whenever possible;
- Handle cashiering functions and adhere to the hotel's Standard Policies & Procedure;
- Taking ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to the supervisor for further follow up where necessary;
- Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events so as to provide guests with accurate information as requested;
- Maintaining a professional and courteous working relationship and maintaining an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel;
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum Diploma qualification in any field;
- Relevant work experience will be duly considered;
- Willingness to work rotating shifts;
- A positive attitude with an outgoing personality and good communications skills;
- Preferred experience in the hospitality industry along with familiarity of the Opera system.
