Crane Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our deck cranes.

Job Responsibilities:

To carry out routine inspections and maintenance tasks on deck cranes, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Conduct thorough analysis of crane malfunctions and provide recommendations for corrective action.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance projects.



Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintaining and repairing marine deck cranes, windlasses, and other hydraulic systems.

Deep understanding of PLC-controlled electro-hydraulic cranes and hydraulic machinery.

Ability to read and comprehend complex electric and hydraulic diagrams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

Experience as an Electrical Officer (E/O) on bulker vessels equipped with deck cranes is highly desirable.

Previous employment as a service engineer with a leading deck crane manufacturer is also highly desirable.

Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) is an added advantage.
