Job Title: Marine Crane Specialist

Job Description">

A marine crane specialist is required to carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot and repair deck cranes, grabs, windlasses, hatch cover hydraulics, and davits.

The successful candidate will have solid working experience with marine crane and deck machinery makers such as MacGREGOR, IHI, MITSUBISHI, LIEBHERR, TTS MARINE, TSUJI, HATLAPA, and PUSNES, NIPPON PUSNES etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Min 5 years' experience in inspection, troubleshooting, and repairing marine cranes, windlasses & other hydraulic systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.
  • Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage, and in Ship Yards.
  • Able to write technical reports and able to communicate with owners' representatives.
  • Sailing experience as Electrical Officer (E/O) on bulker vessels equipped with deck cranes will be an added advantage.
  • Previous employment as service engineer with one of the leading deck crane manufacturers will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) will be an added advantage.
